Understanding how individuals transition between varying levels of health throughout their lives is essential for designing effective healthcare interventions. This research develops a multistate analytical framework that models health trajectories by incorporating multiple health states and transition pathways. Using longitudinal health records, the framework estimates transition probabilities while considering demographic, behavioral, and clinical risk factors. The results reveal significant variations in health progression across different age groups and socioeconomic backgrounds, emphasizing the cumulative effects of early-life exposures on later health outcomes. The study demonstrates that multistate models provide a comprehensive understanding of disease evolution, recovery, disability, and mortality compared to traditional statistical approaches. These findings support targeted public health interventions and resource allocation strategies aimed at reducing health disparities and promoting healthy aging.
