Youth employment remains a critical challenge in many developing economies, where rapid population growth, limited job opportunities, and skill mismatches constrain socioeconomic progress. This paper examines the relationship between workforce skills development and employment outcomes among young people. It explores the effectiveness of vocational education, technical training, entrepreneurship programs, and public employment initiatives in improving labor market participation. The study highlights the importance of aligning education systems with industry demands while promoting digital literacy and lifelong learning. Strengthening partnerships among governments, educational institutions, and the private sector is identified as essential for enhancing youth employability. The paper concludes that comprehensive skills development policies can accelerate socioeconomic mobility, reduce unemployment, and contribute to sustainable economic development.
