Abstract

Developing economies face increasing pressure to create sustainable employment opportunities for their expanding youth populations. This paper examines the contribution of skills development programs to improving labor market participation and reducing economic inequality. It evaluates the role of technical education, entrepreneurship training, career guidance, and public-private partnerships in preparing young people for changing employment environments. The findings indicate that inclusive workforce development policies contribute to higher employment rates, increased productivity, and improved living standards. The paper recommends long-term investments in education, digital infrastructure, and employment support services.
